Allan Marain's practice concentrates on criminal defense in New Jersey. That includes drugs, expungements, DWI, forfeitures, and driver license suspensions imposed by the Division of Motor Vehicles. He represents persons charged with marijuana offenses both in New Jersey State courts, as well as in federal court. He handles trials and appeals.
Mr. Marain gives every client individualized attention. He returns all client telephone calls. He responds to all letters. Weekend and evening appointments are available.
Between 1989 and 1997, Allan Marain was an Assistant Deputy Public Defender in Middlesex County. In that capacity, he handled innumerable theft, drug, burglary, sexual assault, arson, kidnapping, and murder cases. Allan resigned when his Public Defender workload became so great that he was no longer able to give each of his cases the time and attention it needed. The private practice to which Allan returned now provides that opportunity.
